The Boys Varsity Basketball season is coming to an end with districts next week.

The team so far is 9-8 overall, with wins against Omaha Northwest, Omaha North, Fremont, Denver East and Lincoln Southeast.

The players have met the expectations this year set by students. Head coach Terrence O’Donnell says the team has been up and down, but has also remained consistent.

“The players continue to get better every day,” O’Donnell said. “They work hard, get stronger, they have a better idea of what’s going on, work on their execution and each day get a little bit better”

O’Donnell is training the team to improve their skills on the court and succeeding in the game as the
season comes to an end.

Even though the team has losses against Millard North, Lincoln Southwest, Omaha Central, Omaha South and Lincoln High, the team was only a few points away from several of them being wins.       The boys have been putting in hard work to become better players and have seen improvement from the beginning of the season.
