Ariana Horvath is a geometry and college algebra teacher who has sophomores and seniors. She graduated from Corona del Sol High School (Tempe, Arizona) in 2019 and went on to attend the University of Arizona in Tucson where she graduated with degrees in applied mathematics and Hispanic linguistics in 2023. Her birthday is Dec. 18.
Do you have a best friend teacher or a close mentor here at school?
“I have a mentor, Mr. (Dario) Gudino. He’s helping me with all the math things. Mary Morris, she’s a science teacher, I really like her.”
What made you join the Bryan community?
“It was the most welcoming school I interviewed at, and I really wanted to be somewhere I could fit in.”
What events are you looking forward to here at Bryan?
“Obviously, soccer games are really good. I’m probably going to lose my voice.”
What is your favorite snack?
“I’m a protein bar addict.”
What is your favorite music artist/genre?
“Hot punk, punk rock. I’m listening to Hot Mulligan right now.”
What was your favorite subject in school?
“I loved history, which is so funny to me. Now I’m a huge math nerd; I’m getting my masters’ in math.”
