About
The Orator is the official school newspaper of Omaha Bryan High School in Omaha, Neb. The online version of the Orator was founded in February 2019. After attending a national journalism convention in November 2018, student journalists from Omaha Bryan’s newspaper staff decided to bring their newspaper into the digital age and created this news website.
The group made it their mission to provide an immediate, electronic link to not only the students and staff of the school, but also public to provide news, entertainment, sports, and features coverage that previously was only available in print format.
As the website is in its infancy stage, the Orator Online hosts primarily the written word and photography, but it is the goal of the Orator staff to broaden their journalistic skills and produce video features and broadcasts of sporting, cultural and newsworthy events in the near future.
