The Advance Placement (AP) Scholars Program recognizes high school students who demonstrate outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams. The award is given to individuals who received scores of three or higher on at least three AP exams.

Out of the 168 AP Scholars across Omaha Public Schools, five students here earned the award.

Senior James Stratos earned the AP Scholar Award.

Senior Bryan Benitez earned the recognition of AP Scholar with Honor. This is awarded to students who have an average score of 3.25 on at least four AP exams.

Class of 2022 alumni Layna Blankenship, Diana Caceres-Erazo and Vanessa Pacheco also earned the AP Scholar award.

According to AP coordinator Jennifer Cuddy, since the 2012-13 school year 33 students here have been awarded the AP Scholar Award. This group of scholars is also the largest since the 2018-19 school year.
